Welcome to the Battlegrounds. Here we encourage group Role-playing between all members, and split role-playing is now allowed. In this page you’ll learn the rules, so you will know what to do, and what not to do.

For the first rule, no spamming. This is a rule that will be strictly enforced. There is no reason for any member to be using icons or emotes. This is meant to be a literate role-play, and will stay as such.

No idling. This is best described as being silent for more than an hour…and I watch this closely. This means I won’t use the /whois command to see if you’ve been idle for more than an hour, I’ll have you timed in the chat. Excessive non-responding will get you kicked. However you’ll have two warnings before you get kicked. There is no banning for this offence, however if I feel it right I’ll kick you without warning.

Use proper grammar and spelling. I won’t tolerate people that want to not fully spell a word. This gets annoying and shouldn’t infest the role-play. As stated before this is a literate role-play, and by that I do not mean your posts need to be a book long, but they need to not be baby sentences.

Romance: Romance is understandable. Everyone has feelings. However I will draw a line in the sand with this one, and it will merit an instant permanent ban. I want no kids in the chat. This is a chat that is based around living, and sometimes fighting to survive. No characters can have kids, because I don’t want to deal with the drama that brings. And no sex is allowed in the role-play. I don’t care how gory or gruesome you can type out when fighting, that’s ok. But birth/sex is strictly not allowed, at least not in my chat.

Now this brings me to another thing, drama. This is not a soap-opera, and will not be treated as such. Drama is to be at a minimum, period. I hate drama and there’s no room for it in my chat.

Now to talk about the setting. The setting for this Role-play is a planet known as Tranquility. It is an “Eden” of sorts. The entire planet mirrors that of Earth, having forests and oceans; however it has not been urbanized. Everyone is encouraged to join the group and live at the camp that has been made. Houses are not permitted; you can either sleep under the stars or own a tent.

Now to talk about characters. Characters are to be anything you want, I don’t give two shits. However, I don’t want any god or demon characters, those are over-rated and don’t need to be in a role-play as this one. But any other character is allowed.

As for character sheets, I want the following information, nothing less.

My ops and I will check the Character Sheets with a hawk eye, and if you are asked to change something you change it, no questions. If we ask you to redo something we asked for a reason.

In conclusion, this is meant to be a fun RP for everyone. And to finally elaborate on what I said about “Split-Role plays”. I will NOT tolerate people bringing their own settings into the chat. Everyone is part of the same Role-play, so you are unable to ignore other people’s actions, however, if someone is purposely annoying you with their actions and you don’t want to respond ask either me or one of the ops for help in the matter. But as I said, everyone is on the same planet, and in the same Role-play. The setting will not change unless I do so. If you have any questions, ask either me or any of the ops.
